Your job, our ink
Siddhartha Bhattacharyya and Shiv Prasad Sarmah started in Guwahati in 1997, with one room and one computer. The standard is the same now: the sheet should look right, and it should leave when we said it would. More than 100 people work across production, and the floor rotates so a press does not stop when one person is away.

Four things that decide the date
The date on the delivery docket follows the file, the proof, the press days, and the way it leaves Guwahati.

Send a print-ready file
300 dpi at the final size, CMYK, a 0.125 inch bleed, and a PDF 1.3 with fonts outlined or embedded.

A hard-copy proof is available on most products. Approval before 22:00 IST on a business day counts as day one.

Many jobs are planned for 5, 7 or 10 business days. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not production days.

Your Questions, Answered
Do files need to be CMYK?
+Yes. Offset and digital jobs need CMYK. RGB or Pantone files are converted in preflight, and the colour can shift. A hard-copy proof is available on most products before the run.
Does turnaround include shipping?
+No. Turnaround is production time, often 5, 7 or 10 business days, and longer when the quantity or finishing needs it. A proof approved by 22:00 IST on a business day counts as day one. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays do not count. Allow extra days for the courier.
Do you ship outside Guwahati?
+Air is door to door with FedEx or UPS. Ocean is door to port, and that price is given when you ask. It is not added automatically.
When does the clock start?
+When the order is in and the print-ready file is approved. If you asked for a proof, the clock starts when that proof is approved and payment is complete. It does not start if the file is missing or not ready to print.
Can I change the artwork after I order?
+Yes, until you approve the job. After a proof is approved, the sheet goes to production and a change cannot be promised.
Can the date change after the order?
+We try. It depends on where the file is, the press schedule and the product. Say so early if the date is fixed. Ask us for this year’s holiday closures before you promise a date.
